You know those people in your life that you can be apart from for months or years at a time and when you meet-up again, it’s like no time has passed at all?
My oldest friend and his wife are in town for a visit this weekend from Ontario, Canada. We’ve known each other since I was around 14 or so (that’s 19 years for those of you trying to count it out in your head) and I can’t wait to kick off the weekend with them! I’m looking forward to having them meet the kids in person, to catching up on what they’ve been doing, to drinking wine on the porch and reminiscing with lots of “remember that time when…”, to debates and to long talks about everything and nothing at all once.
